Do I need an account or dashboard?
No. Just upload your file and your email. After payment our team makes the report and sends it to that email.
How is the price calculated?
We count the words in your file. One page = 250 words, and we pick the smallest plan that covers your pages. The smallest plan is 25 pages, so even a 1-page file is charged as that plan.
How do I get my report?
By email, as a PDF attachment and a download link. Most reports are sent within a few hours after the payment is confirmed.
Will the software store or save my document?
No, DrillBit does not store or save uploaded documents in its database or repository.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, DOTX, DOT, PPTX, PPT, WPD, RTF, HTML, ODT, TEX and XML.
Is there a page limit?
You can upload up to 800 pages at once. One page is considered 250 words.
What similarity score is acceptable?
The similarity percentage is shown clearly in the report. As per UGC, up to 10% is acceptable, but it depends on your institution or publisher.
Will quotes and references be flagged?
Exemptions can be applied: quotes in double "inverted commas" can be excluded, and references are excluded automatically.
Can DrillBit detect AI-generated content?
Yes. The AI detector shows the percentage of AI-generated content. It supports English, French, Spanish and Indonesian.
Which languages are supported for plagiarism?
English, French, Spanish, Indonesian and regional languages: Assamese, Bangla, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Sinhala. AI detection is not available for regional languages.
Does it check grammar?
Yes — a grammar score with writing suggestions is included (English only).
Can I mix languages in one file?
No. Mixing languages in one submission can affect accuracy — submit content in one language only.
Can I use it for non-academic writing?
Yes — blogs, business reports and other professional content work too.
